Last week saw wind damage to our fababeans. Winds gusting to 90kms were recorded at Walgett. Yield may be down a little, with some late developing pods not filling, and harvesting will be slow, but we should get most of what is in the fields. Swathing the crop will be critical to minimize losses this season. More to follow over the next month on swathing….
