September Crop Update

The crops are changing everyday under tough dry conditions. 17 mm of rain last week and cooler temps helped – this being the only useful rainfall since 16mm on 2nd June (over 3 months).  30 to 50mm would be nice to finish the wheat, barley and peas. The beans and canola are winding down to harvest over the next month.

Some of the wheat heads have white tips  from moisture stress. Stay tuned for more updates.
