July Crop Update

Green.  Its hard on the eyes, for those who haven’t seen it for years. A very welcome relief after the long drought. Apart from a good season in 2016, the drought really started in 2013, resulting in six tough years out of the last seven. But, exciting times ahead as we watch our crops develop and grow.
The wheat and chickpeas  were planted on time, and sitting on good moisture. 15-20mm of rain fell across the farms over the first half of July helping with establishment and secondary root development.  Follow us on Facebook or Twitter for crop updates every month.
