Breaking down the cotton stubble has been a big job. Slashing took care of the plant above ground followed by deep chisel ploughing to rip out the roots. The old faithful Janke hydraulic tine chisel handles the job, with 26 inch sweeps running through the the plant lines. Its a requirement of BollgardII cotton to pupae bust the fields. This country will be fallowed for next winter crop, and currently has about half a moisture profile already.
