These fababeans are jumping out of the ground after planting almost 3 weeks ago. Warm conditions are helping now after a cold snap during the first week of May. Rowspacing is at 60cms. The pic above shows the western side of the field looking north and the pic below on the eastern side.
It continues to stay dry while as we prepare to plant wheat over the next few weeks. The window is open, but no sense going early on limited moisture. More to follow…
