25 April – ANZAC day marks the start of planting, moisture seeking fababeans to a depth of 200mm (8 inches). Its very dry with only 10mm of rain since the start of January. This sort of operation can only be done where a good body of stubble from the last crop protects the moisture near the surface The Janke universal chisel plough has the breakout pressure to get down into the moisture and get this crop started.
